The treatment is mechanical. We section the hair and comb it through with a lice comb built to strip eggs from the shaft, using an oil that loosens them first. Where it suits the case we also use the LouseBuster, a device that works with heated air instead of pesticide shampoo. Nothing here depends on the over the counter products that most families have already tried without success.
