You found lice. Before you pick up the phone, you want a straight answer on what this is going to cost. Fair enough. Here's exactly how we charge for at-home treatment, rechecks, and screenings, plus how you can pay.
Every at-home appointment is billed at $125 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. If the appointment runs past that first hour, you're not charged for a full extra hour just because you went five minutes over. We bill in 15-minute increments instead.

Every at-home visit also includes a driving fee on top of the hourly rate. That fee moves based on two things: how far the technician has to travel to reach you, and which technician gets assigned to your appointment. There's no single flat rate we can print here, since your address and your assigned tech both factor in. Check our service area, or call us before you book and we'll tell you the exact driving fee for your location, so nothing shows up as a surprise on the bill.
Basic vacuuming will likely put your mind at ease. Vacuum the couch. If you feel nervous, you may place a sheet on it for laundering at the end of the day. Steam cleaning is not necessary.
Need a follow-up after your first appointment? Rechecks are billed the same way as the original visit: $125 an hour, one-hour minimum, plus the driving fee. The difference is time. A recheck is almost always faster than the first appointment, since your technician is checking for a handful of leftover nits instead of doing a full head-to-head treatment. Most rechecks land right at, or close to, the one-hour minimum.
If more than one person in your house needs treatment, book them for the same appointment window instead of two separate visits. Since the driving fee is tied to the visit and not to each person individually, you avoid paying it twice. You're still billed hourly for the total time on-site, but you skip the second trip charge entirely. Ask your technician to walk you through the time estimate for two kids back to back when you call to book.

Payment happens at the end of your appointment. We accept Venmo, Zelle, and Cash.
One thing worth knowing upfront: we don't run HSA or FSA cards directly through our system. If you want to try getting reimbursed through your plan, ask for an itemized receipt after your visit. You submit that to your plan administrator yourself. Most HSA and FSA plans do reimburse lice treatment since it's a diagnosed medical condition, but the approval happens on their end, not ours.

A $125 first hour sounds like real money until you add up what a failed drugstore attempt actually costs. A kit that doesn't work means a second box, another pharmacy run, a missed day of work while you comb through your kid's hair yourself, and a child still stuck home from school because the nits never fully came out.
