How an in-home visit works

You send us a message and we arrange a time. We arrive with everything needed, including the combs, the oil, and the LouseBuster, a device that treats with heated air instead of pesticide shampoo. Treatment happens wherever the light is good and the family is comfortable, usually a kitchen or a bathroom.

We check every head in the household, not only the one that came home from school with a note. Lice spreads quietly between siblings and parents, and treating one child while missing another is the most common reason a case comes back.

What it costs

Pricing is hourly rather than per person. Long, thick hair takes longer than short hair, and a heavy infestation takes longer than an early one, so the time is what varies. Checking a parent who turns out to be clear adds very little to the bill. That structure exists so nobody skips a head to save money.

Head lice is not a hygiene problem and it is not an emergency, but it does not resolve on its own.
